Spyder – Wheeltek – Petron Motorally 5 Concludes with Amarjit Sanghera Finishing First

Wheeltek Motor Sales Corp., a nationwide dealer of motorcycles in the Philippines wishes to thank all those who made this year’s Motorally a very successful one. In partnership with J Ad Media (event organizer), Spyder (event owner) and Petron (official fuel provider), Wheeltek with its strong network of dealerships opened its branches along the Motorally 5 route as designated checkpoints and for emergency assistance.

29 year old Amarjit Sanghera repeated his last year’s feat as the first to arrive with 15 hours and 30 minutes on his trusty Ducati Multistrada
Second to arrive was Oliver Navaro just 14 minutes after Amarjit Sanghera with 15 hours 44 minutes onboard a Husqvarna TR650 Strada
Alex Navoa on his Kawasaki Versys 1000 arrived moments later after Oliver Navaro finishing the event in 15 hours 49 minutes

Some interesting stats of Motorally participants:

  • Total number of bikes – 166
  • 26% are big bikes
  • 74% are sub4s
  • Ave age of participant’s motorcycle – 2.5yrs old
  • 80% of bikes are Japs brands
  • 30% are yamaha
  • 30% are Kawasaki
  • Majority of bigbikes are Kawasaki
  • Half of sub4s are Yamaha
  • There is an equal number of Japanese big bikes and non-Japanese made big bikes
  • 40% KTM
  • 20% BMW for non-Japanese made bikes
