2016 KRCP Road Rally 24-Hour Endurance Challenge Concluded

Posted on: October 18, 2016

Wheeltek Motor Sales Corp., a nationwide dealer of motorcycles in the Philippines once again hosted the awarding ceremonies of the 2016 KRCP Road Rally 24-Hour Endurance Challenge held last October 15 at the Suzuki Big Bikes Makati showroom.

The night started with a prayer led by Wheeltek Marketing Manager Mark Chuidian, thanking the Lord for a successful endurance challenge and most importantly that everyone was safe. Welcome remarks was led by Wheeltek Big Bikes General Manager Bobby Orbe, who was also a finisher of the endurance challenge together with another veteran rider Francis Rivera and Adventure Team Philippines.

It was quite an unusual “awards night” for an endurance event, around 60 participants were given 20 peso bills and went on with a winner-take-all stone paper scissors (bato bato pick) game. In the end, the lucky winner took home P1,200! The top 10 participants were recognized for their effort to finish the event at the shortest and safest time as possible and were rewarded with P1,000 each. Other finishers received freebies and certificates.

The event was also special for Wheeltek’s very own Mark Chuidian, as he and his son Enzo, finished the event together as father and son tandem with some of C.O.D.E. – R. Endurance Riding Team and it came as sort of rite of passage for Enzo before joining other motorcycling events on his own in the future.

Ate Shawie together with her gang of comedians filled the night with laughter with some of the riders themselves became part of their clowning acts. They’ve also presented some singing and dance number with ofcourse, humorous jokes.

The luckiest man of the night would be Mr. Roderick Delos Reyes from Quezon City, who was one of the first registrants of the 2016 KRCP Road Rally 24-Hour Endurance Challenge as he won a brand new Kawasaki Fury 125 during the raffle.

The KRCP Road Rally 24-Hour Endurance Challenge all started as a preparation for the Kawasaki Riders Club of the Philippines’ 10th Founding Anniversary. So far, this is the only endurance challenge that navigates through Southern Tagalog Region and is on its 2nd year.
